What we collect
Your email address and the watchlists you pick (state, fishery, zone). If you pay, Stripe collects and stores your card and billing details — they never reach us; we keep only the customer and subscription IDs Stripe assigns you.
What we don’t collect
No passwords, no tracking pixels from ad brokers, no selling or sharing of your address, no profiles. We don’t have an app, so there’s no location data either.
What the emails contain
Alerts matched to your watchlists and a weekly digest. Every send carries a manage link and an unsubscribe link keyed to your address; unsubscribing is immediate.
Who processes the data
- Supabase — the database holding subscribers, watchlists and agency notices.
- Resend — email delivery.
- Stripe — payments and billing.
- Vercel and Render — hosting for the site and the poller that watches agency pages.
- Google (GA4 via Google Tag Manager) — anonymous site analytics; email opens and clicks where the provider supports it.
Each receives only what its job needs. Agency notice data itself is public record.
Retention and deletion
Your row lives until you ask us to delete it or you unsubscribe (we keep the unsubscribed address on a suppression list so you stop receiving email, per CAN-SPAM). Want a full delete including suppression? Email joey@towb.in from the address on the account and it’s done, no forms.
Your rights
California (CCPA/CPRA): you can request a copy of your data, corrections, or deletion at any time at the address above. We don’t sell personal information and never have.
Changes
If this policy changes materially, the change ships with an email to every subscriber before it takes effect. The effective date at the top is the source of truth.
